J.R. Robson High School is in the top percentages of high schools in rural Alberta. We offer full programming in Grades 7 to 12; enhanced by Art, Industrial Arts, Foods and college courses in an advanced technology base. Academic achievement for our students is a priority – supported by a strong and successful extracurricular program. We are proud of our school, students and staff accomplishments! J. R. Robson High School is located in the Town of Vermilion with a population of 4500 people. Our town boasts big city advantages with that small town feel. There is a complete range of consumer goods and services including all medical needs. Lakeland College is a vibrant part of our community and a partner in education with J. R. Robson High School. Recreational needs are addressed through many facilities and features – including Aquatic Centre, Recreation Centre (2 arenas + curling), Parks and challenging Golf course. City style shopping is 60 Km east in Lloydminster or 180 km. west in Edmonton. Vermilion is a safe, friendly place to live and enjoy family life.
